Show up. Get paid.
The first onsite primary care clinic that pays its members for completing the visits that matter. Real cash on a Visa card — not points, not gift cards, not gimmicks.
Healthcare's biggest waste isn't care. It's people skipping it.
Most workforces underuse preventive care. Annual physicals, blood pressure checks, A1C tests, mental health screenings — the visits that catch expensive problems early are exactly the ones people put off. The reasons are well-known: copays, time off work, transportation, the nagging sense that "I'm fine."
Onsite clinics solve some of that — zero copays, on-site, fast. But that's a "remove the friction" play. Archer Rewards is the next step: we actually pay members to come in. A $200 annual physical isn't just free anymore — it's worth $200 cash, deposited on a Visa card the member can spend anywhere.
The economics work because catching one chronic condition early — diabetes, hypertension, depression — saves the employer multiples of what the rewards cost. We're aligning the member's incentive with the math the actuaries already know.
Three pieces, working together.
- 1
Employer turns it on, picks the visits
In the Archer admin, the employer flips Rewards Program on, picks which visit types incentivize their workforce, and sets the dollar amount for each. A typical menu: $200 for an annual physical, $75 for a quarterly wellness exam, $50 for a chronic-care follow-up, $25 for a flu shot. Plus a hard yearly cap per member.
- 2
Member activates a card on their portal
Members verify eligibility once, then activate a virtual Visa card from their member portal. No bank info needed — KYC is handled by Stripe. Optionally they can also order a physical card mailed to their address (~7–10 days). Both share the same balance and work anywhere Visa is accepted.

They show up. Funds land.
Member completes a qualifying visit at the Archer clinic. The clinic team logs it. Within 48 hours the member sees the dollar amount on their card, ready to spend. Real-time email notification and member-portal balance update. No receipts to submit, no reimbursement form, no waiting weeks for a check.
Cost passes through. Privacy stays sealed.
No markup. No profit on cash.
Rewards cost passes through to your invoice exactly. We paid $200, you owe $200. Our margin sits on clinic services.
You configure. Always.
Per-visit-type dollar amounts. Annual cap per member. Toggle the whole program off anytime — goes dark instantly.
Aggregates. Not individuals.
You never see who activated, who showed up, or what they spent. Counts and totals only — enforced at the database layer.
Real money. Where you want it.
Virtual Visa card on your phone
Activate from your member portal in under a minute. Use the card anywhere online — groceries, gas, kids' clothes, anything. View full card details (number, expiry, CVV) in your portal whenever you need them. Add to Apple Wallet or Google Pay manually for tap-to-pay in stores.
Physical card mailed (optional)
Prefer a real card? Order one from your portal, free, mailed to your address. Arrives in about a week. Works in stores, online, and at ATMs (with a PIN you set). Same balance pool as the virtual card — they're not separate buckets.
Funds within 48 hours of each visit
Email and portal notification when funds post. No reimbursement forms. No expense report. No waiting for a paycheck cycle. The money is yours the moment your provider closes the visit.
Three commitments we won't compromise.
- Your employer doesn't see your activity. Activation, earnings, and spend are invisible to your employer at the row level. They get aggregate totals only — enough to reconcile their invoice, not enough to identify anyone.
- We never touch your card numbers. Card details live in Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. Your portal renders them in Stripe-hosted iframes — Archer's servers never see the PAN, expiry, or CVV.
- Cash works for everyone. No bank account required, no tax surprise (rewards under your employer's annual cap typically fall under wellness program safe harbors — but check with your tax advisor). The card itself is the entire mechanism.
Ready to turn it on for your team?
Rewards is in beta with select Archer employers. We're rolling it out deliberately — onboarding is short (under an hour) but we want to make sure each program is configured well before it goes live for members.
